A first for us. Recent guest Pierre proposed to his partner Genevieve of 30 years in the grounds of the Old Manse Bed and Breakfast! They were staying with us as part of a group of six visiting from Belgium in their fabulous MGs.
We had a fabulous stay The Old Manse, the place itself is lovely and very clean, with great attention to detail and beautiful gardens. Absolutely loved the decor and the room we stayed in was so spacious. The breakfast was amazing with a wide variety and not to mention the delicious cakes. Neale & Linda were great hosts offering advice on places to visit even down to coffee shops along the way, which we wouldn't have found on our own! They even gave us some cake to takeaway with us on our journey, which was very thoughtful. We would highly recommend The Old Manse and would definitely stay there again. A delightful experience with a personal touch
